Join a global integrated renewables developer that specialises in the development, financing, EPC, O&M as well as asset management of solar power plants. With European origins my client has a portfolio that surpasses 1GWp worldwide and conducts business with over 50 countries globally.

The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for supporting the development of largescale solar projects in Taiwan. Through your extensive renewable energy experience you will support origination, interconnection, resource assessment, permitting, government affairs, engineering, and finance activities to help build strong pipeline.

Your role:

Research and identify potential project sites and assess land ownership, site suitability, proximity to transmission, and environmental/permitting feasibility.

Manage all aspects of projects to ensure key development milestones are met.

Maintain strong knowledge of any economic or other relevant external factors which could influence current or future project activity.

Propose strategic projects in response to any improvements, optimization and growth opportunities, alongside managing tendering processes.

Build positive long-term relationships with government officials, utility staff, community leaders and residents.

Your profile:

Ideally more than 10 years’ experience in managing development projects from early stage through to financial close and construction.

Deep understanding of renewable projects (especially solar) development.

Good knowledge of the local renewable energy market.

Strong interpersonal skills will be necessary to engage local stakeholders
