The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with a successful Venture & Partnership Investment Business, seeking a new Senior Business Development Lead – to identify new renewable energy development opportunities across the UK.
This is a highly sought-after opportunity, offering full autonomy to approach UK Businesses & Landowners – upselling tailored, financed renewable energy solutions & partnership prospects. With an already impressive & profitable portfolio – the business seeks new investment opportunity, with this new position at the helm.
Responsibilities
- Converting warm leads & existing business contacts into business opportunities/Joint Ventures for renewable energy developments.
- Prospecting new suitable locations, Landowners & Businesses for renewable energy development opportunities.
- Convert successful meetings into vessels for investment – with the support & backing of the highly successful, Senior Development Team.
- Mapping and approaching relevant stakeholders & upselling suitably identified feasible renewable technologies, based on existing land-use.
- Meeting stakeholders with a catalogue of tailored renewable solutions – feasible to their existing business operations & land-use.
- Coordinating site specifics with financial and technical colleagues and determine the consequences
- Track project level progress and risks. Provide insightful analysis and reporting to management.
The Individual
- Sales & Development experience, selling a range of tailored energy & renewable energy solutions to a diverse client base.
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- Experience dealing across multiple sectors – Agricultural, Commercial, Industrial, Green/Brown Field.
- Commercially biased, but with technical understanding of renewable energy technologies.
- Experience selling solutions including (but limited to) Solar PV, Battery Storage, ASHP/GSHP, Biomass, Anaerobic Digestion, EFW, CHP, Gas Turbines.
