Job description

Due to the technical nature of this position, only candidates with significant experience in the commercial and industrial (C&I) solar PV sector will be considered. Please, refrain from applying if you do not have such experience.

A rapidly growing clean energy solutions provider is seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Technical Lead to lead its Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar engineering initiatives.

This role is ideal for a seasoned engineering leader ready to shape the technical strategy of a high-impact solar portfolio, mentor a growing team, and drive end-to-end project execution across the U.S.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the technical direction for all C&I solar and solar + storage projects.

  • Manage and develop a team of engineers delivering feasibility, design, and implementation support.

  • Drive system design, customer engagement, and technical sales support.

  • Collaborate with EPCs and internal teams to ensure delivery excellence.

  • Build and standardize scalable processes and best practices.

What You Bring:
  • 10+ years of experience in renewable energy, with at least 5+ in

    C&I solar engineering or project development.

  • Proven track record leading technical teams and complex solar projects.

  • Expertise in PV design, energy modeling, and implementation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-facing experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s a plus).

  • Bonus: Experience with BESS and knowledge of ITC structures.
