Job description

​TGRC is excited to have partnered with one of the largest renewable energy developers, headquartered in Singapore, in search of a Regional Finance Director for their newly set-up Singapore team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, to support business objectives and strategic initiatives.

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to facilitate decision-making, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.

  • Monitor key financial metrics, analyze variances, and identify trends to drive continuous improvement and optimize financial performance.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal control policies, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.

  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

  • Partner with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that support business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

  • Evaluate investment opportunities, capital allocation decisions, and strategic initiatives, conducting financial analysis and risk assessments to inform decision-making.

  • Provide financial leadership and guidance on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions to maximize value and achieve strategic objectives.

  • Develop and implement cash management strategies, including cash forecasting, investment management, and foreign exchange risk management.

Expectations:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • CPA, CA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior finance management position.

  • Strong financial acumen, with demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and strategic financial management.

  • Proven track record of driving financial performance, implementing process improvements, and supporting business growth and expansion.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think analytically, solve complex problems, and make sound financial decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
