Summary: 

An Australian solar PV business are seeking a Projects Director to be overall responsible for the company’s end to end delivery of commercial solar projects across Australia. This well-established organisation has been operating in the Australian solar sector for well over 10 years and are recognised as a true market leader

Your Responsibilities:

As Projects Director you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of all projects on time, to budget and to the required quality, guaranteeing regular repeat business.

You will:

·       Ensure that project teams have a clear understanding of all project related processes and tools

·       Guarantee that decision-making and routine project reporting for projects is established

·       Support and manage a growing program of work by assisting in the acquisition of future project work

·       Establish, sustain and enhance resource management systems to assist company project resourcing

Skills, qualifications and experience required from you:

• Proven project management experience in the solar sector
• Professional qualification in project management ideal
• 5+ years’ experience in the delivery of complex projects
• Experience in a sub-contractor environment
• Experience in establishing new projects and systems and managing existing ones
• Proven experience in resource management and planning
• People management skills and experience with a track record in mentoring, guiding and training diverse teams
• Strong organisational skills
• Solid understanding of procurement and supply chain methodologies
• Eligibility to live and work in Australia
