Job description

A leading global EPC company are looking for a Project Planner for their utility scale PV Project in Caceres. Reporting into the construction manager the role involves responsibility across the construction lifecycle as outlined below.

 

Pre–Construction
Analysing the Schedule and Prepare the Histograms
  • Issuing and Managing the General Project Schedule, in co-operation with other members of the Project Team, by ensuring the correct execution of the network analysis and detailing planning of activities for all the Project phases
  • According the local Key Performance Indicator (KPI) estimate the histogram of manpower per speciality, Equipments and the main Materials;
 
Construction Phase 
Monitoring, Plan and Adjust
  • Monitoring the project progress, highlighting and supporting the Project Team in Managing temporary deviations, by acquiring data from the project team and verifying and managing detailed programmes and progress reports presented by Suppliers/Contractors;
  • Updating the project “S curve”, aligned to the General Time Schedule;
  • Coordination and continuous interaction with the various contractors for the definition and follow up of work programs and monthly/weekly/daily reporting;
  • Coordination with Construction Manager & Quality the Progress Report;
  • Analysis of monthly/weekly/daily deviations of physical progress (Actual vs Baseline) and reprogramming the forecast for each activity;
  • Early identifying delays and proposing detailed acceleration plans to get goals of general time Schedule;
  • Identification, analysis and follow up of a project’s critical path;
  • Prepare Biweekly detailed schedule every week to get Goals of General Time Schedule;

 

Post Constructions Works and Activities

Works Completion 

  • Record all information during the project
  • Main Key Performance indicators (KPI) and effective Manpower and Equipments stayed on site to support the estimation the resources in further Projects around the Area;
