Job description
Support program strategy development, budget planning, and logic model updates to align with organizational vision and field trends.
Cultivate new funders, engage existing ones, and prepare proposals, reports, and funder updates.
Manage grants and projects, including budget oversight, partner selection, and progress monitoring to ensure deliverables and compliance.
Conduct grant evaluations, adjust strategies for effectiveness, and ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
Identify collaboration opportunities, work with teams to deliver impact, and share knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with partners (grantees, policymakers, funders, etc.) to foster collaboration and thought leadership.
Provide team leadership, coaching, and performance management (if applicable), and foster a learning-oriented environment.
Prepare reports, updates, and work plans for leadership and regulators, staying updated on field developments.
Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in building science, architecture, urban planning, or related fields; knowledge of energy, environment, and climate is a plus.
Experience: 8+ years in buildings sector, with expertise in energy efficiency, electrification, HVAC, appliances, urban planning, or policy research.
Native-level Chinese and excellent English proficiency (spoken and written).
Strong ability to articulate key messages logically, listen actively, and communicate effectively in public.
Skilled in planning, tracking, and delivering high-quality projects on time.
