Job title: Onshore Wind Portfolio Developer

Location: United Kingdom (Remote)

An exciting opportunity for an experienced onshore wind development Project Manager to join an international renewable IPP. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in orchestrating and advancing the timely development of our current onshore wind projects in the UK, while also taking charge of new projects as our portfolio expands in the years ahead.

Role

  • Assess, appoint, instruct and project manage internal resources & key consultants to successfully develop onshore wind projects through to RTB (e.g planning, legal, communications);

  • To lead by example utilising Project Management tools (Monday, MS Project etc) to document, coordinate & communicate tasks with delivery deadlines.

  • To ensure tasks get done, on time, with the correct quality of detailed content.

  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key project delivery stakeholders including landowners, Solicitors, Govt or Local Council Planners & community interest groups etc.

  • Lead from the front within Community Engagement, hearing concerns and convincingly explaining realities;

  • Reporting to the management team monthly as regards project delivery progress, DEVEX and Risks.

Requirements:

  • Organised, self-motivated, team player, has motivational communication skills and exhibits a detailed, structured way of working.

  • Possess a deep, 1st hand insight into the myriad complexities of commercial wind turbine project development, earned over a minimum of 5 years of experience in utility-scale onshore wind development project management

  • Detail-oriented, charismatic team leader and stickler for following up that tasks are properly completed

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of the onshore wind Portfolio

  • Skilled with MS Office and confident in presenting project progress to an experienced management team.

  • Have an astute commercial awareness of how, development choices, design decisions and equipment specifications can affect the value of a project.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related topic

Salary and benefits

  • Fully remote position

  • Salary of up to £80k per annum plus car allowance dependent on experience

  • 25% annual bonus
