Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee our production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of production staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements for Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards, and promote a culture of safety.
Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and equipment.
Lead, mentor, and train production staff to foster a productive work environment, and collaborate with peer leaders to develop and train team members on standard operating procedures and core skills.
Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement, including material usage and labor efficiency.
Implement lean manufacturing principles, equipment reliability systems (e.g., autonomous and preventive maintenance), and process control systems to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve uptime.
Deliver shift, day, week, and monthly production plans in full adherence to manufacturing standards, and manage 24/7 production execution by analyzing shift performance for effective daily direction setting.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback to team members, and assess their capabilities.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., quality assurance, supply chain, maintenance) to ensure seamless operations.
Lead and support the company’s Operational Excellence program, including coaching and training on company policies.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in industries ch as semiconductors, electronics, solar cell, or other high-tech sectors.
Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to build and foster high-performing teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement in production systems.
Proficiency in manufacturing software and tools used for scheduling, reporting, and process control.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices, including process and value stream startup management.
Fundamental understanding of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
Familiarity with industrial safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments.
