Job description

We're seeking a driven and experienced Manager, Data Center Project Engineer to join a leading Renewable Energy Developer in the United States. If you have a deep understanding of energy markets, data center development, and high-voltage infrastructure - and want to work on large-scale, sustainability-focused projects - we want to hear from you.

Role Overview:

As Senior Manager, you'll lead the end-to-end development of data center infrastructure projects - from site selection through permitting and execution - while integrating sustainable energy strategies. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams in development, engineering, legal, and finance to ensure alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery of complex projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical planning and site development for infrastructure projects, including utility coordination and preliminary system design.

  • Manage cross-functional teams and project workflows, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timelines.

  • Develop and execute detailed project plans while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project continuity.

  • Support client interactions through meeting coordination, presentations, and contract facilitation.

  • Optimize system performance through maintenance planning, energy efficiency strategies, and integration of hybrid power solutions.

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in energy, infrastructure, or real estate development, with hands-on knowledge of interconnection processes and substation design.

  • Proven project management track record, particularly with complex, cross-disciplinary infrastructure builds.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage stakeholders across all levels.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% and work from a Utah-based hub office at least 3 days a week.

What’s on Offer:
  • Competitive compensation, performance bonuses, and equity potential.

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage with full premium support.

  • 401(k) contribution plan.

  • Unlimited PTO and flexible working hours.

  • Supportive culture with wellness benefits, development programs, and inclusive employee resource groups.

Join a purpose-driven organization where high-impact work meets a people-first culture. Help shape the next generation of sustainable data infrastructure.
