​The Green Recruitment Company has partnered with a leading Renewable Energy company and they are looking for a Fully Qualified Financial Accountant to join their team. This opportunity will be a 12-month FTC and the role will be based in Glasgow, Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify financial data for renewable energy entities.

• Oversee financial reporting for multiple joint ventures.

• Handle billing processes and compliance.

• Assist in financial accounting and control for construction projects.

• Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews and identify issues.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes along with consolidation

• Assess the accuracy of decommissioning costs.

• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures.

• Track financial and non-financial performance against targets.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified accountant with some PQE of working in a financial accounting/reporting /analysis role within Control

• Good understanding and experience of relevant IT applications in particular SAP-BPC

• Excellent communication skills at all levels – verbal and written

• Extensive knowledge of key financial processes and associated policies and procedures

• Highly motivated self-starter with confidence, ability, and presence to constructively challenge at all levels
