Job title: Environmental Planner

As an Environmental Planner, you'll play a vital role in assessing and developing renewable energy projects. Using geospatial software and other online resources, you'll explore development possibilities while considering planning constraints and restrictive agreements. Combine your planning insights with economic factors to evaluate overall viability and contribute to the commercial parameters influencing land negotiation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Site Assessment:
Utilize geospatial software and online resources to assess development opportunities, considering planning constraints and restrictive agreements.
Economic Evaluation:
Combine planning considerations with economic factors to assess the overall feasibility of projects.
Financial Modelling:
Utilize a third-party financial modelling tool to create commercial parameters impacting land negotiation processes.
Land Acquisition Support:
Collaborate with land acquisition teams to secure sites through lease options.
Commercial Design:
Develop commercial designs for systems that can be used in presentations for clients.
Qualifications:
Background: Experience in land management, planning, development, or real estate.
Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiation, particularly in land acquisition/leasing.
Legal Knowledge: Understanding of legal aspects related to land acquisition, including lease options, land titles, and restrictive agreements.
Technical Skills: Surveying background, experience with geospatial software, familiarity with regional and national online databases/tools for land resources.
CRM and Networking: Experience with CRM systems, and a network of rural area agents.
Renewable Energy Interest: Knowledge and interest in renewable energy, especially ground-mounted solar installations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Experience dealing with senior executives and decision-makers.
Language Skills: Excellent proficiency in both German and English, both written and spoken.
