Our client is a prominent Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in the wind energy sector, renowned for its innovative and efficient wind turbine technologies. As they continue to expand their operations in Suzhou, they are seeking a skilled Design Specialist to enhance their manufacturing processes and contribute to their mission of sustainable energy solutions.

Position Overview

The Design Specialist - Manufacturing will play a critical role in the design and development of manufacturing processes, tools, and systems that are crucial for producing high-quality wind turbine components. This position requires a blend of creativity, engineering expertise, and a deep understanding of manufacturing efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop optimized manufacturing processes for wind turbine production.

• Create detailed CAD drawings and specifications for manufacturing equipment and fixtures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of new designs.

• Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new manufacturing concepts and report findings.

• Continuously improve existing manufacturing designs, enhancing functionality and cost-efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all design activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

• Proven experience in manufacturing design, ideally within the wind energy or related industrial sectors.

• Strong proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to creating high-quality, innovative designs.

• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
