Overview

The Green Recruitment are happy to partner with our client, an exciting IPP and Power Generator with a prolific portfolio of renewables projects overseas, in looking for a Project Manager Associate to join their delivery team.

The company is a global player entering the Australian market with a flagship project.

The role

The successful candidate will join the team as a Project Manager Associate in their Perth Office.

They will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

General Responsibilities

  • Support Project Manager and project team in delivery of the company's projects

  • Manage project costs and financial reporting

Project Responsibilities (SOW)

Support the Project Manager in:

  • Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.

  • Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party.

  • Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget.

  • Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.

  • Managing delivery of the project according to this plan.

  • Tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.

  • Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget.

  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks.

  • Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.

  • Capturing and implementing lessons learned from working with company's stakeholders and partners

Process Improvement Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement project delivery optimisations in Australia

  • Interpret information and materials from project partners (including templates, registers, processes, and plans) and, if appropriate, incorporate improvements to the company

Qualifications

  • Formal engineering qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience managing construction processes, BESS experience will be advantageous.

  • Strong communication skills. Clear, effective, and regular communication with the team members and other stakeholders is crucial.

  • Comfortable with site travel (up to 50% of the time)
