Job description

Job Responsibilities:
Oversee civil/structural design and technical management for engineering projects.
Exercise supervision, review, and approval authority over design documents, technical proposals, and reports.
Participate in contract negotiations, design optimization, equipment selection, technical agreements, and post-contract design reviews.
Develop civil engineering proposals for tender submissions.
Standardize design contracts, equipment procurement specifications, and technical protocols.
Optimize typical civil designs, BOQs, and equipment configuration templates.
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to establish construction standards.
Support business development by providing civil design inputs for bids.
Manage design processes and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Participate in equipment tender evaluations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering or related fields.
Priority given to candidates with Registered Structural Engineer or Intermediate Engineering qualifications.
8+ years in civil/structural design.3+ years as Lead Designer for power projects (wind, solar, buildings) in large firms.
Proficient in power industry design workflows and project management.
Mastery of civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS), MS Office, and project tools.
Fluent English (written/spoken); ability to interpret technical documents and communicate seamlessly.
Willingness to travel for project needs.
