Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee civil/structural design and technical management for engineering projects.

• Exercise supervision, review, and approval authority over design documents, technical proposals, and reports.

• Participate in contract negotiations, design optimization, equipment selection, technical agreements, and post-contract design reviews.

• Develop civil engineering proposals for tender submissions.

• Standardize design contracts, equipment procurement specifications, and technical protocols.

• Optimize typical civil designs, BOQs, and equipment configuration templates.

• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to establish construction standards.

• Support business development by providing civil design inputs for bids.

• Manage design processes and ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Participate in equipment tender evaluations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering or related fields.

• Priority given to candidates with Registered Structural Engineer or Intermediate Engineering qualifications.

• 8+ years in civil/structural design.3+ years as Lead Designer for power projects (wind, solar, buildings) in large firms.

• Proficient in power industry design workflows and project management.

• Mastery of civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS), MS Office, and project tools.

• Fluent English (written/spoken); ability to interpret technical documents and communicate seamlessly.

• Willingness to travel for project needs.
