Job description

Purpose of the Job:

Join a leading organization in the UK energy sector as an Enterprise Account Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for achieving sales targets with a focus on high-value Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs). You’ll lead a team of Account Managers to maximize relationships and develop commercial opportunities, ensuring exceptional service delivery to both internal and external customers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Achieve business plan sales targets, including sales margin and gas & electricity volumes.

  • Manage a portfolio of existing TPIs, fostering strong working relationships and regular communication.

  • Collaborate with leadership to manage TPI risk profiles and compliance.

  • Implement business development programs for engaging new TPIs.

  • Work with the sales management team to develop strategies that enhance TPI value.

  • Contribute to the wider sales strategy in collaboration with marketing for product and campaign development.

  • Negotiate and implement commercial terms, ensuring valid agreements with all TPIs.

  • Manage performance and development of the account management team to meet targets.

  • Provide comprehensive reporting on team performance and contract metrics.

  • Drive process improvements and effective communication across departments.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achieved contracted sales margin and volumes for gas and electricity.

  • Successful development of sales channels and contract management.

  • Effective application of people management processes and team development.

Qualifications:

  • Degree level or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of the UK energy market, particularly in retail.

  • Proven experience in sales techniques and relationship management.

Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop solutions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.

  • Strong planning, organizational, and motivational skills.

  • High level of commercial acumen and attention to detail.
