Overview

The Green Recruitment Company are working alongside one of the leading Renewable Energy businesses in their search for a Business Development Manager.

The Client

The client is an international developer that has focused on renewable development since inception. They are well renowned for their high-quality standards and consistent business development. They are highly regarded in the sustainability space; being a transparent, fair and honest firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of offshore project development; safely, on time, to budget and to required specifications and quality standards
  • Ensure establishment of adequate quality control management
  • Ensure consistency between budget, forecast and controlling processes
  • Identify, evaluate, and monitor project risks and develops also implements risk mitigation strategies
  • Propose and manage all project planning and scheduling activities
  • Collaboration with the engineering and construction manager to develop the most efficient construction plan (schedule, contractors, site team, etc.) to achieve security, quality, on schedule and on budget construction works
  • Liaise and support Senior Management to identify contractual and other project risks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Science
  • At least 3 years professional experience in Offshore Energy Project Engineering, Construction or Operations or Contract Management/Development/Construction with high value projects
  • Expert knowledge of cost control philosophy and methodologies, estimating, change management and document controls procedures
  • Extensive experience with Budgets/Scheduling, risk evaluation and statistical modelling
  • Project Management Certification
  • High energy, self-motivated, customer orientation
  • Business fluent English & german Skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Willingness to travel
