Summary

The Green Recruitment Company are working with one of the leading EPC's in the MENA region. Historically they have been experts in transmission and distribution projects. The company are now actively looking to operate as a renewables IPP in the region. Key strategic partnerships have been succesful and they are now looking to grow their renewables team.

Basic Function

• Manage the development of projects from any stage to get them to a ready to build state
• Work with relevant internal staff to prepare a competitive offer for the client in case of EPC or to prepare a competitive financing offer in case of financing
• \Negotiate and/or assist in the negotiation of partnerships/co-operation/development agreements
• Manage the identification of new opportunities
• Evaluate opportunities and follow through to acquire projects when an offer is accepted, by conducting due diligence with advisors (if necessary) to finalize the deal
• Carry out other ad hoc activities required to achieve company objectives and to be pro-active in meeting group objectives, engaging in industry events & consultations so the company can act on new trends, and analysis of energy efficiency regulation and risks this presents 

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in energy efficiency related developments
• Experience in energy auditing works, a related certification would be a plus (such as Certified Energy Manager, Certified Energy Auditor and/or Certified Measurement and Verification Professional)
• Strong time management and organizational skills, excellent attention to details
• Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of project risks and how to mitigate them
• Experience in financial models would also be desirable

Education

• University degree in finance, engineering or any other field related to the position
• Experience in the sustainability field through coursework, projects or past experience
