Job Title: Associate Director (M&A Analyst)
Location: Stockholm

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&A Analyst at Associate Director level to join our client, a leading renewable energy investor based in Stockholm. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in M&A analysis and transaction execution, with a focus on the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities:
Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on potential renewable energy investments, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment
Support the investment team in the development and execution of investment strategies, including deal sourcing, structuring, negotiation, and closing
Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including financial advisors, industry experts, and potential co-investors
Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and external stakeholders
Monitor and report on industry developments and trends in the renewable energy sector
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in M&A analysis and transaction execution, with a focus on the renewable energy sector
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and interpret complex financial models and reports
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of renewable energy markets, project finance structures, and regulatory frameworks
Strong network within the renewable energy sector
