We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&A Analyst at Associate Director level to join our client, a leading renewable energy investor based in Stockholm. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in M&A analysis and transaction execution, with a focus on the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on potential renewable energy investments, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment

• Support the investment team in the development and execution of investment strategies, including deal sourcing, structuring, negotiation, and closing

• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including financial advisors, industry experts, and potential co-investors

• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and external stakeholders

• Monitor and report on industry developments and trends in the renewable energy sector

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or related field

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in M&A analysis and transaction execution, with a focus on the renewable energy sector

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and interpret complex financial models and reports

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Knowledge of renewable energy markets, project finance structures, and regulatory frameworks

• Strong network within the renewable energy sector
