Summary: 

A global renewable energy investment company are seeking an Technical Asset Engineer to join their growing team in Australia. This brand-new role is born out of an impressive period of growth for the company in the Australian energy market. The purpose of the role is to provide assistance to the technical and operational asset management of the company’s Australian generating assets

 

Your responsibilities:

 As Asset Engineer you will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensure the optimal technical and financial performance of the asset portfolio in Australia
  • Hold responsibility for all operational and technical and issues from pre-acquisition to construction and plant operation
  • Report on key technical KPIs by analyzing and monitoring SCADA data
  • Preparation of performance reports
  • Supervising compliance of O&M contracts
  • Interacting with various internal and external stakeholders (EPC, O&M, Suppliers) both in Australia and internationally
  • Work closely with the company’s solar asset management and investment teams who are responsible for growing and managing the portfolio
  • Support the wider team across a range of other responsibilities where required

 

Skills, qualifications and experience required from you:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in renewable energy industry (solar and/or wind)
  • Experience in the Australian renewable energy industry
  • Good knowledge of the NER
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, (Masters, PhD qualifications ideal)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Eligibility to live and work in Australia
