​Senior Testing & Commissioning Manager – PV Inverter Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Testing & Commissioning Manager to lead inverter commissioning activities across utility-scale solar PV projects.

You will serve as the technical authority for inverter systems, ensuring safe energization, grid-code compliance, reliable operation, and seamless integration with PPC, SCADA, and grid infrastructure.

This is a high-impact role spanning engineering review, commissioning, troubleshooting, grid compliance testing, and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Review inverter system designs, SLDs, protection philosophies, and communication architectures

• Lead inverter pre-energization, synchronization, and power ramp-up activities

• Coordinate commissioning with PPC, SCADA, protection, and utility teams

• Conduct LVRT/HVRT, power factor, reactive capability, and power quality testing

• Diagnose inverter derating, nuisance trips, communication failures, and grid-related issues

• Perform root cause analysis using logs, oscillography, and trend data

• Prepare commissioning reports and support O&M handover

About You

• 12+ years of utility-scale solar PV commissioning experience

• Expert knowledge of central and string inverter technologies

• Strong understanding of power electronics and inverter control strategies

• Experience with grid-code compliance and utility acceptance testing

• OEM commissioning experience preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering
