We are partnered with an ambitious, UK-based property and asset management company establishing their presence in Cape Town, and they’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Office Manager to play a pivotal role in building and running their local operations.

About the Role
As the Office Manager, you will be the backbone of the Cape Town office - responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting the growth and development of the team. You will work closely with UK leadership to implement best practices and build a productive, accountable, and collaborative workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Operations Management
Oversee the day-to-day running of the Cape Town office
Ensure efficient processes, systems, and workflows are in place
Team Onboarding & Growth
Manage onboarding processes for new hires
Support recruitment coordination and ensure a seamless employee experience
Policy Development & Implementation
Establish and implement office policies aligned with UK operations
Set up procedures around working hours, hybrid/office attendance, and productivity
Employee Engagement & Accountability
Monitor attendance, working hours, and office presence
Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and professionalism
Operational Support
Act as a key liaison between the Cape Town office and UK leadership
Assist with administrative, HR, and office-related functions as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as an Office Manager, Operations Coordinator, or similar role
Experience working in a start-up or scaling environment is highly advantageous
Strong organisational and process-building skills
Ability to take ownership and work independently
Confidence in implementing structure, policies, and accountability measures
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships
High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
