We are partnered with an ambitious, UK-based property and asset management company establishing their presence in Cape Town, and they’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Office Manager to play a pivotal role in building and running their local operations.

About the Role

As the Office Manager, you will be the backbone of the Cape Town office - responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting the growth and development of the team. You will work closely with UK leadership to implement best practices and build a productive, accountable, and collaborative workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Operations Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the Cape Town office

  • Ensure efficient processes, systems, and workflows are in place

Team Onboarding & Growth

  • Manage onboarding processes for new hires

  • Support recruitment coordination and ensure a seamless employee experience

Policy Development & Implementation

  • Establish and implement office policies aligned with UK operations

  • Set up procedures around working hours, hybrid/office attendance, and productivity

Employee Engagement & Accountability

  • Monitor attendance, working hours, and office presence

  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and professionalism

Operational Support

  • Act as a key liaison between the Cape Town office and UK leadership

  • Assist with administrative, HR, and office-related functions as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Operations Coordinator, or similar role

  • Experience working in a start-up or scaling environment is highly advantageous

  • Strong organisational and process-building skills

  • Ability to take ownership and work independently

  • Confidence in implementing structure, policies, and accountability measures

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships

  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
