Our client is a fast-growing energy storage technology company expanding its manufacturing capability in China. They are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Head to build and lead the end-to-end supply chain function supporting production ramp-up and future capacity expansion.

Responsibility

• Develop and lead the overall supply chain strategy across sourcing, procurement, planning, logistics and inventory.

• Build and manage the supplier base for key battery raw materials, including supplier sourcing, qualification, audits and performance management.

• Drive localization and dual/multi-sourcing initiatives to reduce cost and strengthen supply security.

• Lead commercial negotiations, annual sourcing agreements, cost analysis and procurement budgeting.

• Manage supplier capacity, material planning and delivery performance to support stable production ramp-up.

• Work closely with R&D, Engineering and Quality on material validation, NPI and supplier improvement.

• Establish supply chain KPIs covering cost, quality, delivery and inventory performance.

• Build and lead the supply chain team while coordinating with overseas headquarters and international suppliers.

Qualification

• 8+ years of supply chain experience within battery, energy storage or related electrochemical manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of battery raw materials and established supplier networks in China.

• Proven experience in supplier development, localization, commercial negotiation, cost reduction and production ramp-up.

• Experience working directly with technical teams on material qualification and supplier quality issues.

• Previous people-management experience across sourcing, procurement, planning or logistics.

• Fluent English for regular communication with overseas stakeholders.

• Experience with battery manufacturing, advanced energy storage technologies or electrochemical products would be advantageous.
