Our client is a leading international solar company with a fantastic reputation. Having established a pipeline of partners in the Australian marketplace, our client are now seeking a Technical Service Manager to provide technical knowledge and advice on our client’s products.


As Technical Service Manager, your responsibilities will encompass supporting the design and analysis of pre-sale stages through to the after sales troubleshooting stage


Your responsibilities

As Technical Service Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

·        Technical support for the sales team including: 

o   PVsyst analysis and design

o   HV network integration and MV station (inverter) support

o   PV & LV electrical design

·        Assist distributors and direct clients with other general technical support. 

·        Provide technical support to the after‐sales support team for module, inverter and  system issues

·        Build and sustain productive relationships with potential project partners in the commercial, industrial and utility markets

·        Develop   and   deliver   progress   reports,   memorandums,   proposals, presentations  and other required documents

·        Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise  contingency plans

·        Undertake client meetings and sales visits assisting the sales team

·         Participate in  trade‐shows,  workshops  or  other  relevant  events  to  promote the business   


Role Requirements: 


You will need the following expertise and qualifications to be considered for this position

·        Engineering degree (Electrical or Utility)

·        Solar experience and an understanding of PV System design

·        Previous experience using PVsyst 

·        Previous experience with HV network integration requirements

·        Practical knowledge of integrating LV electrical circuits
