Technical Manager – Energy & Infrastructure
Beijing, China (On-site)
Salary: RMB 300,000 – 400,000 per annum
The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with a leading international energy and infrastructure investor to appoint a Technical Manager based in Beijing. This is a critical role supporting the technical delivery and performance of a portfolio of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the core of project development and execution, ensuring technical excellence from early-stage design through to construction and operation.
You will act as a key interface between engineering, project delivery, and commercial teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical oversight across the full project lifecycle (development, design, construction, and operation)
Review and manage engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation
Support project teams in resolving technical challenges and risks
Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with technical standards, regulations, and best practice
Contribute to technology selection and optimisation across projects
Support due diligence and technical input for investment decisions
Requirements
Strong experience in a Technical Manager / Engineering Manager role
Background within energy, renewables, or infrastructure projects
Solid understanding of engineering design, project delivery, and construction processes
Experience working with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage technical risk
Fluent in Mandarin and English
