Technical Business Developer – Aerothermal Solutions

Job description

​The Green Recruitment Company is currently searching for an Aerothermal Engineer – Business Development Focus to join a leading renewable energy platform in Spain.

We are looking for a primarily technical engineering profile, ideally with solid experience in aerothermal systems, who also brings some exposure to commercial or client-facing activities.

The core of the role is engineering expertise: understanding client needs, designing technical solutions, sizing systems, and supporting project execution. Commercial skills are important, but secondary to the technical background.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical reference during the sales process, supporting negotiations with credible engineering expertise.

  • Identify and develop new B2B opportunities with industrial, commercial, and tertiary clients for aerothermal and energy efficiency solutions.

  • Analyse client requirements and prepare tailored technical proposals, including system sizing, feasibility studies, and solution design.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

  • Manage projects from technical proposal stage through implementation.

  • Build long-term relationships with clients, installers, EPCs, and strategic partners.

Requirements:
  • Engineering degree, ideally in Mechanical, Energy, HVAC, or similar disciplines.

  • Proven experience with aerothermal / heat pump systems and technical sizing.

  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC, electrification, and energy efficiency solutions.

  • Some commercial, business development, or client management experience.

  • Able to manage projects end-to-end with a hands-on and execution-oriented mindset.

  • Autonomous, structured, and target-driven.

  • Fluent Spanish and English.

Additional Information:

  • The role requires frequent travel across Spain (approximately 50–70%).
