The Opportunity:

Join a leading GreenTech organisation. They're seeking a Technical Account Manager to work directly with customers, managing and delivering software training (pre and post sales), and other consulting projects or analytic deliverables.

The Role:

  • As a Technical Account Manager, your role is to work together with customers to maximize the value they derive from the client’s products and services. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing services and implementation projects for key customers, using their data, analytics and BI tools. You will need to have a deep technical understanding of the the client's products, as well as a big-picture understanding of the challenges that our customers face, and the technologies and methods needed to solve those challenges. You will:

  • Measurably increase the use of our software by showing customers how they can be more successful in their roles
  • Develop and sell Consultancy engagements (reports, analysis, tutorials etc.) to customers
  • Manage data collection, analysis, tracking, and execution projects timely, accurately and exceeding customers’ expectations
  • Provide product and technical guidance to key customers
  • Propose new service lines to the business by understanding customer requirements and spotting opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with customers to increase loyalty and retention
  • Provide regular feedback concerning customer experience and participate in the software product specifications

The Individual:

  • 2+ years in a similar field, preferably in the renewables industry
  • Excellent communicator in front of customers or partner organisations
  • Engineering or computer science degree or equivalent
  • Spoken and written proficiency in English + one other [Spanish, French, Italian, German]
  • Skills at manipulating large data sets using Excel, Python, MATLAB would be beneficial
  • Self-motivated, able to operate in a fast-paced environment and have excellent organisational skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude, fast learner who can multi-task and take initiative
  • Interested in renewable energy (solar technology a plus), capable of having a credible conversation with an engineer or an asset manager
