The Opportunity 

This is a unqie opportunity to join a successfull international international renewbale energy developer and operator with core interests in Solar and Wind. They are currently developing a 1.4 GW portfolio across Europe and The United States. The Supply Chain Associate with work alongside the EPC team to ensure smooth coordination and relationship management across all parties, suppliers and contractors.  Day to Day responsibilities will include purchase order management, material release, logistics and delivery management, supplier communications, RFP analysis and project status reporting for scope of work. This is an integral function where you will act as the interface with the engineering team, project controls, construction managers, and other team members to ensure a successful project execution.

The Role

  • Preparation and execution and of RFPs and RFQs related to:
  • Solar Equipment (including, but not limited to, PV modules, inverters, racking equipment, transformers and MV equipment, cables, etc.)
  • Power plants construction (including, but not limited to, civil and electrical work, mechanical assembly, HV, etc.)
  • Supply Chain and Procurement document control / database management
  • Issuance of purchase orders and material release orders
  • Day-to-day supplier communications
  • Creation and execution of logistics plans with suppliers, contractors and transportation companies.

The Person

  • 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Procurement
  • Solar industry or construction background is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proficient within Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Projects, ERP systems
  • Autonomous, efficiency oriented, data driven
  • Ability to work in an always changing project environment
  • Team player
  • Self-driven and undertakes projects at own initiative
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes
  • Ability to travel (10% of the time)
