The Role

The Green Recruitment Company are working with a worldwide leader in energy services to find a Solutions Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for aiding their Solutions Team in identifying opportunities for savings on utilities for their clients and carrying projects through to their completion. The role will require the candidate to liaise with other sectors within the business to support the business development of the company, along with frequent client interaction through client meetings. The company have offices in London and Leeds so are looking for a candidate within 1-2 hours of either of these locations in the event of needing to access the office.

The role will include being responsible for delivering energy management contracts and SLAs to clients, as well as day-to-day activities such as:

• Delivering energy audits and technical reports during the solution development process
• Supporting the team via effective management techniques throughout the project management process
• Representing the Energy Solutions Team at industry events
• Managing time effectively to ensure client needs through ensuring projects are completed by deadlines to a high standard
• Ensuring all elements of the process are in compliance with company governance processes

The Individual

• Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively while working cross functionally
• An expert in energy solutions with a strong understanding of commercial, industrial and building manufacturing engineering services
• Engineering or similar relevant science degree
• An ESOS Lead Assessor, Chartered Energy Manager, or Chartered Engineer
• Experience of working collaboratively with a variety of teams across a business on major projects
• Solid understanding of the energy and sustainability sectors
• Proven experience of working within Energy Management and carbon reduction fields
