Job description

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities at a newly constructed wind farm in New Mexico.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

• Provide hands-on management and perform safe and timely execution of all on-site activities

• Coordinate and oversee the work of the WTG-OEM, external subcontractors and vendors for balance of plant (BOP) facilities, substations, and met masts

• Enforce environmental health, safety and quality program at the site level

• Interface with the client, landowners, and local community representatives as needed

• Maintain timely communication, both written and verbal, with K2M Asset Manager regarding site performance and activities

• Liaise with relevant functions and teams at K2, the client and with external contractors/vendors

• Monitor tools and inventory on site and the off-site O&M/spare part building Additional duties may arise based on project and client requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ professional relevant experience managing the daily operations of an operating wind farm

• Eight 5 years’ minimum experience working within the renewables industry (wind/solar)

• Prior supervisory experience working in wind turbine services

• Demonstrated knowledge of quality and safety requirements and standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft software suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

• High school degree or equivalent is required; advanced education or training is highly desirable
