The Green Recruitment Company are working with a client which delivers energy management and consultancy services to commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional customers. With a multinational team of experts and proprietary technology, they provide customers with comprehensive energy supply solutions to reduce energy spend and increase predictability. They also offer end-to-end sustainability services to meet carbon footprint goals.

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development

  • Work with the broader global sustainability management team to develop REC strategy that will meet growth and revenue goals.

  • Identifies and prioritizes products, supplier channels and revenue models that have the greatest growth and revenue potential.

Operations

  • Develop new products and services to take advantage of new business models or opportunities created by changes in regulatory, incentive or market structures

  • Diversify strategies across different revenue models to maximize revenue potential. Potential structures could include success-based, brokerage, revenue sharing, and partnerships/finder’s fees, spread margins

  • Maintain knowledge of REC markets, growth of new and emerging markets to identify new product and service opportunities.

Financial

  • Work with Sustainability management to define annual revenue goals and interim quarterly targets.

Commercial

  • Understand the full scope of sustainability products and services to effectively leverage the cross-segment opportunities

  • Grow customer and prospect awareness of products and services, grow perception of World Kinect as though leaders through delivery of customer-facing webinars and training, earned media, participation and speaking at conferences and industry events.

The Individual:

  • 5+ years of REC market experience.

  • Excellent understanding of renewable energy certificate market and regulatory structures. Ability to analyze and take advantage of new and existing structures to drive client acquisition and revenue growth.

  • Strong people management skills, ability to design and implement efficient team structures to deliver renewable energy services

  • Strong technical understanding of renewable energy systems and carbon market, and ability to assess and identify new opportunities
