Our client is a Global Investor and Developer focused on generating, developing and managing wind, solar and hydropower energy assets, which substantial growth of the past 18 months.

As a result of this they're looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel in Singapore to support furture M&A and Project Development transactions

Your role:

  • Provide legal counsel for project development, M&A and project financing in the Asia Pacific region
  • Draft, review and negotiate and provide legal support on documentation for the origination and development of renewable energy projects including NDAs, term sheets, acquisition agreements, power purchase agreements, development services agreements, EPC contacts, O&M agreements and related ancillary documents
  • Advise and provide legal support on project financing transactions within the Asia Pacific region, including the negotiation of loan and security documentation with financiers and related ancillary document
  • Active involvement in the legal and commercial analysis of acquisition and due diligence documentation

Your profile

  • Ideally 6-10 years PQE
  • Qualification as a legal practitioner in a common law jurisdiction
  • Experience working either as an in-house counsel at a recognised energy or infrastructure company (preferably in the renewable energy sector) or as a senior associate specialising in energy project development or M&A
  • Ability to build trust and lead complex and demanding projects
