Job description

​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with a leading, international, Energy provider.

The established supplier is determined to increase their use of renewable energy, so have created a new “start-up” division that matches all grid use with 100% renewable energy.

The well-backed division has experienced rapid growth since its introduction, so are looking to bring in a Senior Full Stack Developer who will be critical in designing and developing new products.

This Individual will be joining the existing team, within a start-up environment and should have an interest in overseeing frontend and backend projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the Product Lead to build roadmaps for digital products

  • Determine successful tracking and monitoring of our client’s digital platforms

  • Understanding & planning requirements

  • Provide consultative solutions and drive architectural discussions

  • Manage P1 incidents

  • Manage & update micro-services

  • Delegating tasks effectively

  • Collaborating with team members, management, & clients to guarantee projects are completed to standard and on time

  • Recognizing risks and creating contingency plans.

  • Analysing operations, identifying improvements to make, and scheduling training sessions.

  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends.

  • Improving work schedules as required.

  • Motivating staff and creating an open, collaborative workspace

  • Drawing up progress reports and presenting to stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Frontend skills using ReactJS, React Native & TypeScript

  • Experience with AWS, API Gateways, Lambda, DynamoDB, Python, boto3, AWS CLI, TerraForm, REST & GraphQL

  • Comfortable in using Git/Gitlab, yaml, ci/cd best practices

  • Familiar with DevOps and deployment management expertise

  • Past experience working in cross-functional Agile teams

  • Experience working on both web and mobile projects

  • Clear communication & ability to present to non-technical stakeholders

  • Write documentation for software engineers

  • Improve & maintain frontend CI/CD pipelines

  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent leadership qualities.
