As they continue to support an ever-growing list of global partners in their decarbonisation strategies, our client are searching for an experienced Energy Analyst to join their dynamic London office – who would be a vital contributor in both technical and commercial business activities.

At this pivotal stage of their global expansion, this exciting opportunity has arisen for technically & commercially capable analyst, with strong expertise in the UK/European clean energy market - surrounding Smart grid, Microgrid, or DER technologies (e.g., BESS, EV Infrastructure, Solar etc.).

The Role

The main objective of this position is to act as the UK product expert during the entire sales cycle & beyond, working with product & data science teams as well as clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Be the UK subject matter & product expert, suggesting creative solutions & ideas to the software team & clients aiming to plan/execute clean energy projects.

• Support new feature testing & contribute in writing technical documentation.

• Onboard new clients& respond to client queries.

• Ensure the SaaS solution is used effectively by clients, proactively offering expert modelling guidance.

• Guarantee product offering matches user demands in the UK/Europe by working collaboratively with Data Science, Software & Commercial teams.

• Act as an industry leader - staying updated on market trends & producing blog posts accordingly.

• Support business development team by building demo projects and joining sales meetings to provide technical expertise.

Job Requirements:

This role requires a confident individual with a strong commercial and technical mindset.

• 3+ years’ experience in an analytical role.

• 3+ years’ experience in UK/EU energy markets - ideally surrounding Smart grid, Microgrid, or DER technologies (e.g., BESS, EV Infrastructure, Solar etc.).

• Strong analytical capabilities & experience with a range of technologies (Python, SQL, Excel etc.).

• A proven ability to communicate effectively with clients & provide technical solutions.

• Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, & Product teams.

• Strong written communication skills & an ability to present technical solutions.

• Familiarity in scale-up environments.
