​An established renewable energy company with over 12 years of experience in the energy sector is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing team in Munich. The business has successfully delivered hundreds of commercial renewable energy projects and operates across numerous European countries, with Germany representing one of its largest market.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced electrical engineering professional looking to take ownership of the full technical design and grid connection process for C&I-scale PV and BESS projects, primarily focused on medium-voltage applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end conceptual design of PV and BESS systems for commercial and industrial projects

• Manage and oversee grid connection processes, with a strong focus on the AC side and medium-voltage integration

• Produce accurate technical costings, project timelines, and feasibility assessments

• Support commercial and client-facing discussions with technical expertise

• Conduct technical reviews and ensure high engineering standards across projects

• Develop and review single-line diagrams and other key engineering documentation

• Collaborate across rooftop and ground-mounted C&I renewable energy projects

Requirements

• Extensive experience within PV and/or BESS project engineering

• Strong knowledge of medium-voltage systems and grid connection standards, including VDE 4105 and 4110

• Experience working with transformers, AC systems, and utility/grid integration

• Ability to independently manage full system design processes

• Proficiency in creating and reviewing single-line diagrams

• Commercial awareness and the ability to support client and stakeholder discussions

• Experience across C&I rooftop and ground-mounted renewable energy projects

• Minimum C1 German fluency
