​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be supporting a major international energy supplier in their search for a Global SaaS Sales Development Manager.

The “Big 6” utility are driving energy transition through many verticals, one being through their B2B Energy Solutions team. As a key member of this team, you would have the exciting opportunity to lead the sales of their award-winning energy management & visualisation software to existing and new clients.

The ideal candidate would have proven experience selling energy/utility/cleantech software solutions to businesses and corporates in the UK and abroad.

This is a remote position with domestic and international travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver go-to-market strategy for internal and external target customer segments that is in line with the business model and geographic regions.

  • Cross-sell the business’ other services to clients.

  • Collaborate with the marketing & Go-to-market team on engagement plans, including event planning, webinars, & sales campaigns.

  • Develop business models and margin setting strategies, providing client feedback to the Product team to influence the digital strategy & roadmap.

  • Negotiate contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with existing and new business.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience selling software solutions to new and existing clients.

  • Working experience at a renewable energy/utility/cleantech business in a sales role.

  • Knowledge of the Energy Efficiency market and relevant solutions.

  • Strong business development and commercial expertise.

  • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Marketing etc.)

  • Proven ability to launch and develop products/solutions into their given market.

  • An interest in energy transition and keeping up to date on relevant market developments.

  • Results-oriented and driven to succeed.

  • Full clean UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
