Job description
The Client
The Green Recruitment Company are working with a leading energy and utility consultancy based in Lancashire, UK. With over 21 years’ experience, their focus is optimising energy to manage utility expenses, working on management, reduction and procurement.
Accountability/Key Responsibilities
- Management of energy procurement contracts
- Creating and delivering energy market intelligence and client reports
- Managing, building and maintaining client relationships
- Supporting field sales
- Conducting flex tenders
Personal Specification
Skills (i.e. communication / problem solving / autonomy/ analytical / meet deadlines)
- Strong IT ability (including Reuters, Excel, Work and Powerpoint)
- Highly analytical
- Strong numerical ability
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident networking and building relationships
- Innovative
- Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge (experience, qualifications, IT Literacy / packages, commercial awareness)
- At least two years’ experience of trading within the Energy industry
- Exposure to managing flexible energy purchasing supply contracts
- Strong energy market knowledge and understanding
- Experience working within a similar role (ideally at an energy consultancy)
- PPA (Power Purchase Agreement), European Procurement or Public-sector Procurement knowledge (advantageous)
