QA/QC Manager - Onshore Wind - Wisconsin
Job Overview
TGRC invites applications for a QA/QC Manager for an onshore wind project in Wisconsin. This is a fantastic 12-month contract opportunity, offering an hourly rate between $60 and $80. We are looking for a motivated professional with a deep commitment to quality and sustainability in the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and enforce rigorous quality assurance policies and processes tailored specifically to onshore wind energy projects. Ensure that all project activities align with these standards to deliver high-quality results.
Quality Control Activities: Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Promptly identify any issues and lead the implementation of necessary corrective measures.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain precise documentation of all quality control procedures, findings, and corrective actions. Produce comprehensive reports for project stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of quality control professionals, fostering an environment that encourages continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
Safety and Compliance: Uphold stringent health and safety standards, ensuring all project activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control, specifically within the wind energy sector. Proven ability to manage project quality effectively.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
Certifications: All relevant Health & Safety qualifications required; additional certifications in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) are preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and effective communication capabilities. Proficiency in project and quality management software is essential.
Compensation
