The Green Recruitment Company partnered with a leading Asian Investment platform in search of a Business Development role.
The employee will take part in and lead efforts to identify sites, develop projects, and strategically promote AI‑ready data center campuses throughout Latam.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of hyperscale and AI‑ready data center campuses across Latin America, including overall campus planning and infrastructure layout.
Identify strategic locations with strong, large‑scale power availability, transmission infrastructure, and long‑term expansion potential.
Oversee land acquisition processes, permitting, environmental impact assessments, and coordination with public agencies and utilities.
Work closely with power utilities, transmission operators, and renewable energy developers to secure reliable and competitive energy solutions.
Drive long‑term energy strategies such as PPAs and BESS deployments, while evaluating grid capacity, substation conditions, and supply risks.
Serve as a key interface for hyperscalers, cloud providers, and AI infrastructure clients to understand requirements and align development plans.
Lead Build‑to‑Suit initiatives and long‑term capacity agreements with strategic customers.
Build and maintain long‑term partnerships with major data center clients in the region.
Requirements:
Experience in data center development.
Capability in coordinating power and public utilities.
Ability to communicate with Hyperscaler customers.
Experience in land and permit development.
Understanding of energy strategy and power resources.
Qualifications
Plus 5 years of experience in infrastructure, energy, data center, telecommunications or large-scale industrial project development.
Experience in advancing large-scale power infrastructure projects.
Fluent English.
