  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on power markets and energy commercialisation

  • Work closely with legal, finance, technical and investment teams on transactions and strategic initiatives

Requirements
  • 5–10 years' experience in energy markets, power trading, renewable energy procurement or infrastructure commercialisation

  • Proven experience structuring and negotiating PPAs and complex electricity supply agreements

  • Strong experience modelling and valuing PPA contracts, ideally including bespoke structures

  • Strong understanding of wholesale power markets, transmission charging structures and renewable energy economics

  • Experience with private wire, embedded networks, grid infrastructure or large industrial power users is highly desirable

  • Experience working with data centres, hyperscalers, energy developers, utilities or infrastructure investors would be advantageous

  • Strong commercial negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management capabilities

  • Ability to operate independently and take ownership within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Energy, Mathematics or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience

This represents an opportunity to take a leading commercial role within a business developing innovative solutions at the intersection of energy infrastructure, power markets, battery storage and data centre development.
