This client, with its 96,000 employees, is committed to accelerating the transition towards a carbon-neutral world, through reduced energy consumption and more environmentally friendly solutions.

The Role:

As a Trader you will be part of the Asset Backed Power Trading Team in Brussels, whose missions are:

• Manage the power market risks of the Group,

• Ensure performance of trading and related reporting,

• Operate within the approved risk mandate,

• Development/ improvement of models and pricing methodologies in close collaboration with Risk, analysts, quants, IT and the Structuring desk.

About You:

• Experienced as an analyst or trader in Power Markets.

• Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of power markets.

• Strong analytical and programming skills: Data analysis, ability to build models.

• Quantitative skills: Pricing, valuation methodologies, data science, statistics/machine learning.

• Combine strong analysis with synthesis abilities and are not afraid to deal with the details.

• Can communicate easily, fluent in English is essential.

• Are rigorous, curious, eager to learn, creative, reliable, and resilient.
