​Planning Manager – Renewables Energy

Salary: DOE and bonus structure

TGRC is working with a developer company with proven experience in the development, construction, and operation of solar PV. Their expertise lie in renewable energy project development with over 50MWs of ground mounted solar projects in operation, 400MWs in planning and over 600MWs of ground mounted PV and BESS projects in early stages of development.

Purpose

We are recruiting an in-house planning manager to support the business with a diverse range of planning activities. They offer a unique opportunity to have a wide-ranging role within the company. The role will involve managing several ground mounted PV and BESS planning applications and overseeing the work of our various planning consultants, amongst other tasks in a busy and dynamic environment.

To succeed in this role:

•       Minimum of 3 years private or public sector experience

•       A recognized RTPI planning qualification

•       Experience with reviewing planning related documents prior to LPA submission and make recommendations for changes required to the planning application and specialist surveys

•       Undertake desk studies, site visits and prepare planning assessments

•       Lead several planning applications, submitted in planning and in the early stages of

•       development

•       Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills

•       Strong project management skills with ability to deliver to project deadlines

•       Good analytical skills and IT competency

•       Full Driving License
