​TGRC is partnering with a world leader in the development and construction of offshore wind projects in their search for a PMO with knowledge from the Renewable/Infrastructure industry to join their team in New York.

As PMO, you will be part of the Development team. In this role, you will lead and develop the PMO team for a lease area in the New York Bight and play an important role in offshore wind project development and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and ensuring the careful management of project programs and schedules, DEVEX and CAPEX budgets, interface, documentation, and project risks.

  • Developing detailed project plans and carrying out progress updates.

  • Communicating and reporting on progress, performance, and forecasting for the management team and shareholders.

  • Facilitating benchmarking and optimization of project processes and activities, and ensuring lessons learned are captured and shared.

  • Driving and optimizing consistent risk and interface management/administration.

  • Managing the continuous improvement of a document control system and promoting this within the project organization.

  • Developing and presenting project steering material and high-level decisions to senior management.

  • Supporting the development of survey and permitting plans critical to the on-time delivery of a project.

  • Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts and framework agreements of varying sizes and scope.

  • Supporting the offtake process and coordinating RFP responses.

  • Facilitating scenario analysis and supporting Package Managers/EPC Directors in decision making.

Qualifications:

The PMO/Project Controls Manager is a mid- to senior-level position that will report to the Development Director and be part of a wider PMO group.

To succeed in this role, you will have the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related field.

  • Seven or more years of work experience in a PMO, project controls, project management, project planning, or similar role, with a track record of success and outstanding performance

  • Previous experience in offshore wind, as well as experience in a corporate finance team or control account management schema, is preferred.

  • PMI-PMP qualification or equivalent project management training as well as experience with the stage-gate model and structured project execution.

  • Comprehensive skills in Primavera (P6), PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • A structured and analytical approach and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Strong relationship management and networking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and communicate complex matters in a clear and concise manner.

  • The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle numerous tasks simultaneously without losing perspective.
