Land Acquisition Manager
Job description
I’m currently partnering with a well-established international renewable energy developer to find an experienced Land Acquisition Manager to support the growth of their solar and battery storage pipeline in Germany. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a direct role in advancing the energy transition, joining a collaborative and fast-growing team with a strong track record of delivering utility-scale projects across multiple markets.
The role:
You’ll be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing land for solar and BESS developments, working closely with internal technical, legal, and development teams to move projects forward efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying and assessing suitable land for solar and storage projects
Conducting feasibility studies and reviewing permitting requirements
Leading negotiations with landowners and stakeholders
Managing relationships with authorities and project partners
Supporting projects through the development lifecycle
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in land acquisition, real estate, or similar
Ideally, a background in renewable energy (solar/PV strongly preferred)
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Experience with site evaluation and planning processes
GIS and/or CAD knowledge is a plus
Fluent in German; English beneficial
