​The Green Recruitment Company are working with a client which delivers energy management and consultancy services to commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional customers. With a multinational team of experts and proprietary technology, they provide customers with comprehensive energy supply solutions to reduce energy spend and increase predictability. They also offer end-to-end sustainability services to meet carbon footprint goals.

The Role:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about business and would like to grow the portfolio of customers for this client’s national and international business. We are looking for an individual who is interested in using the existing network, management of new leads/ prospects and existing clients to grow the business.

This client has ambitious growth plans for the coming years and this candidate will play an important role in delivering the targets. The future employee will later manage and grow these accounts by executing a strategic customer plan to achieve cross and up-selling targets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The full management of assigned accounts ranging from SME to some of the largest global businesses and energy consumers by building and maintaining strong relationships with all clients

  • Manage the acquisition, retention and renewal of service and supply contracts

  • Build new and diversified revenue streams through qualified sales opportunities and cross-selling other services and products

  • Manage the negotiation of complex energy supply contracts

  • Maintain an oversight of service delivery teams to ensure service levels meet contractual obligations and address service delivery issues in conjunction with the operational teams where appropriate

  • Periodic status updates with clients reviewing the local and global market, the status of their supply contracts and horizon

 

The Individual:

  • The successful candidate is likely to have in excess of 3 years commercial experience: in a field sales or account management capacity.  Field sales or account management experience in energy supply or energy advisory services is highly desirable. Alternative industry experience includes a background from commodity trade finance or consulting services.

  • Demonstrable experience in the Dutch or European energy markets either within a consultant/TPI or supply company is highly desirable

  • Willingness to travel across Netherlands is essential.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch is essential
