Job description

The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have partnered, with an industry leading UK Solar PV and Battery Storage Developer. They have one of the largest UK Solar pipelines and are led by a highly experienced development team.

 

They are looking for an exceptional Investment Analyst to join their dynamic and fast-growing team in London.

 

You will play a key role in developing and analysing financial models, you will assist on investment transactions within the team and support senior team members across the business.

 

Throughout this role you will gain exposure to the full development process of utility scale solar and storage projects and have the opportunity to become well established and progress within the company.

 

The Opportunity:

 

  • Working as part of the Business Development Team you will create, understand and present discounted cash flow project models and multiples-based analysis. This will include sensitivity and variance analysis on investments and establishing a process for best practice.
  • Managing the transaction processes and co-ordinating documentation with buyers and partners.
  • Market research and presentations to the team of UK solar and storage market trends, policy updates, industry participants, route to market options and transactions.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the directors and senior team members across the business.
  • Identifying opportunities for site specific value enhancement, assessing new solar technologies and battery co-location opportunities.

 

Your Background:

 

  • Experience in financial modelling, discounted cash flows and other valuations modelling within an energy / infrastructure / capital intensive environment is essential.
  • 2-5 years relevant work experience in renewables, infrastructure, energy, investment, banking, or strategy consultancy.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and maintain high organization skills.
  • Highly driven, innovative and ambitious; with a ‘hands on’ approach and excellent analytical assessment skills.
