OUR IMPACT

The Green Recruitment Company has been retained by a rapidly growing, grid-scale energy storage developer, owner and operator backed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management (“GSAM”) and led by experienced clean energy industry professionals. The company acquires, develops and operates stand-alone battery storage projects in markets across North America. The company is based in Portland, Oregon.

YOUR IMPACT

As an analyst, you will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the rapidly growing battery storage industry. You will be an early member of a team executing complex projects at a scale that delivers value to our partners and investors. Working with subject matter experts you will evaluate and communicate the key findings to inform investment decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluating potential battery storage project investments

  • Preparing projections and budgets

  • Analyzing financials, including detailed financial modeling and projecting returns

  • Conducting due diligence on energy storage assets

  • Developing investment theses for new market opportunities

  • Drafting investment memoranda and presenting to Investment Committee

  • Support deal execution and take an active role in monitoring portfolio of operating assets

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of prior work experience in the financial services or renewable energy industry, preferably in project finance, investment banking or advisory

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

  • Passion for renewable energy industry (existing knowledge and experience is a plus)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Flexible, creative and entrepreneurial mindset

  • Ability to manage multiple projects

  • Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide variety of people

  • Project finance modeling and structuring experience is a plus, but not required
