Job description

​The Green Recruitment Company has partnered with a fast-growing, private equity-backed energy management outsourcing company that is committed to reducing global carbon emissions across the United States. They are growing rapidly and looking for an experienced Implementation Engineer to help support their customer base throughout the United States.

This role supports the company’s dedication to applying the right set of energy saving solutions within each customer location, and as a member of the Engineering Implementation team within Operations, your practical engineering expertise will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Review equipment survey documents and understand the best HVAC solutions for implementation and customer satisfaction

  • Provide Tier 3 mechanical engineering support for HVAC technologies/solutions

  • Understand and interpret construction documents including site plans, floor plans, details, sections, and equipment schedules

  • Generate HVAC bills of materials and coordinate with Fulfillment team to ensure necessary materials are made available for each customer location

  • Review implementation checkout documents to diagnose problematic installations

  • Ensure accuracy of HVAC equipment tables by customer location

  • Assist the process of maximizing utility-provided incentives based on HVAC solutions assigned to customer locations

  • Confirm completion of quarterly preventative maintenance schedules across customer base

  • Other job-related duties may be assigned

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • 2-5 years of design and/or construction experience

  • Proven understanding of HVAC building operations and thermodynamics

  • Knowledge of ASHRAE Standards and International Mechanical Code

  • Robust organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multitask

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software programs

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or energy-related certification preferred
