The Role:

As the Health, Safety and Environment manager in Spain, you will be responsible for providing leadership and coordinating the overall HSE management and day-to-day tasks for the legal entities in Spain as well as the assigned projects in accordance to fulfil local HSE. You will support the project management team, including supervisors and contractors. Further responsibilities include:

 

  • Risk Assessment for the work place
  • Maintain and implement the branch specific action plan and emergency plan.
  • Emergency response planning, escape plan, Instruction, Signage, First Aid Box, First Aid Poster, First Aid Log and guidance, Defibrillator, First Aid Checklist, Smoke Detectors, Fire Extinguisher, Fire equipment check list, Evacuation Check List, Evacuation / Emergency Pack…
  • Organize, conduct and document quarterly HSE and Energy Management System (if applicable) meetings.
  • Organize and conduct evacuation drills and fire extinguisher, ladder AC systems etc testing and inspections.
  • Workspace related HSE signage (in accordance with ISO 7010 and/or local requirements)
  • Objectives and continuous improvement (OHSMS ISO 45001, EMS ISO 14001, EnMS ISO 50001, QMS ISO 9001)
  • Planning (e.g. internal review, internal Audit, etc.)

 

The Individual:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in a related field or equivalent working experience.
  • HSE certification like NEBOSH or equivalent.
  • Fire marshal and first aid training certifications required.
  • Minimum 5 years of HSE supervisory experience in a construction environment.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy preferably in the solar sector is beneficial.
  • Knowledge in implementing a management system.
