Head of Investor Relations
Job description
We’re working with an investment platform focused on US-based energy and infrastructure assets, generating stable cash flows and structured through senior and mezzanine credit. Rather than a typical fund structure, the platform works with direct asset exposure and SPV frameworks, with a clear focus on downside protection and predictable yield. They are now building out a broader investor base beyond their existing network.
The Role
This is a senior hire focused on building investor relationships across the US market. You’ll take deals from first conversation through to closing and capital deployment, working directly with family offices, private credit funds and other institutional investors.
The platform is also introducing tokenised access to these assets, so part of the role is helping investors understand how this fits alongside traditional allocations.
Responsibilities
Build and manage relationships with family offices, private credit funds, asset managers, and other alternative allocators across the US market
Lead the full investor process from initial outreach and pitching through to due diligence, negotiation, onboarding, and capital deployment
Present investment opportunities clearly, with a strong focus on risk/return profile, cash flow visibility, structural protections, and downside mitigation
Expand and diversify the investor base by developing new capital relationships and identifying relevant sources of repeat allocation
Gather market feedback on investor appetite, including yield expectations, duration preferences, liquidity considerations, and structural requirements
Work closely with internal stakeholders to support product positioning and help refine the go-to-market strategy
Requirements
Proven experience in institutional sales, investor coverage, fundraising, or capital raising within private credit, structured products, fixed income, or alternative investments
Strong network across institutional investors, family offices, or other relevant allocators, with the credibility to engage senior decision-makers
Good understanding of private credit, infrastructure debt, structured finance, or asset-backed investment products
Strong commercial judgement, communication skills, and the ability to operate in a performance-driven environment
Exposure to tokenisation, digital assets, or alternative distribution models would be beneficial, but is not essential
The client is offering:
Competitive base salary with uncapped performance-based incentives linked to capital outcomes
Opportunity to join a growing platform backed by an established energy business, at a key stage of development, with direct visibility on investor strategy and product direction.
Exposure to institutional-grade, cash-flow-generating, asset-backed investment opportunities rather than purely narrative-led products
High-impact role with genuine scope to shape investor coverage and long-term capital partnerships
